Every piece of execution runs as a GitHub issue — CUJs, features, spikes, initiatives and
the conference push. This is the read on where the work sits and where the momentum is going.

What the board is telling us right now
This week: a pivot to company-building
21 of 50 issues opened in the last 7 days (#30–#50) — Stripe billing, valuation & financial models, company formation, a GTM Lead hire (Michael) and internal enablement. The centre of gravity moved from "build the product" to "build the company."
Conferences are the single biggest theme
13 issues across two booth initiatives — VDC (13–14 Aug) and Velg (29–30 Oct). But a lot of the logistics is still unowned: sponsorship agreements, booth reservation, collateral and host rostering (#6, #7, #13, #14, #16, #17).
RPL Data advancing — but bottlenecked
The baseline shipped (#22 closed); the RTO-vs-TAFE volume spikes (#23–#25) are in flight. The catch: the NCVER/VOCSTATS query spec (#27) that unblocks them is unassigned.
Product foundation is defined but dormant
The five Critical User Journeys (#1–#5: voice self-assessment, evidence & gap analysis, eligibility firewall, audit-defensible trail, demo→decision) are all "proposal" and haven't moved in 35 days — the only stale cluster on the board.
Load is concentrated
Ali (15), Naseer (13) and Aaron (12) carry most of the open work; Anwar holds 8. Twelve issues sit with no owner — the conference logistics and the CUJs.
Young board, half-used process
49 open vs 1 closed, and only one bug — a forward-looking board. The rich fn: and
stage: label sets exist in the repo but aren't applied to any issue yet: a quick
process win.
